Struggling to find the time to get a healthy breakfast on the table each morning? Try this simple recipe for overnight oatmeal!

It’s not always easy to get a wholesome breakfast on the table every morning, and given the rush and somewhat chaotic nature of everyday life, there can be very little time to squeeze in a healthy and filling morning meal. Luckily, there are quick and easy solutions to this problem, one of which is making your breakfast ahead of time. The recipe we’re sharing today is for overnight oatmeal. All it takes is a few ingredients, a few minutes, and a refrigerator.

You’ll need:

• ½ cup of old fashioned rolled oats
• ½ cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
• ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Fresh fruit, if desired

What to do:

• Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized jar or container with an air-tight lid
• Give the mixture a quick stir before snapping/twisting on the lid
• Shake well
• Place in refrigerator and let sit overnight

And that’s it! The oats will absorb the moisture of the milk and yogurt and will soak up the flavor from the cinnamon and fruit, making for thick and delicious oatmeal the next morning. All you’ll have to do is grab a spoon and dig in! Add different fruits, honey, or your favorite nut butter for added flavor.
